Another contract furniture job completed by Hill Upholstery & Design. Thirty two of these lounge chairs were soon to be shipped off to their forever home, on a cruise ship destined for warmer weathers. First stop, our workshop.
They entered the workshop as plain and simple heavy piled, velvet chairs. We added a golden cord piping to highlight the shape of the chair and made the back a focus point with hand made ribbon and a golden Celtic design braid. Et voila, no longer plain and simple contract furniture.
